Without a doubt Villa Trafalgar is one of the most outstanding holiday rentals in Los Caños de Meca.

A magnificent villa right on the beachfront and with incredible views of the sea, Trafalgar Lighthouse and on a clear day you can see the coast of nearby Africa. Our villa in Los Caños de Meca is in a really privileged spot, perched on the edge of a small cliff and with little stairs that leads directly from the front garden at the villa down to the beach. Thanks to its being where it is, you can enjoy a barbecue or just sunbathe in your own garden in total privacy and with the most amazing views of the ocean.

A recently refurbished, modern holiday villa with all the necessary commodities. The house is on a single level.

In the main area of the house you have a large sitting room, dining room area as well as the kitchen. It is a very large and bright space due to the huge windows and French doors from where you will see the most amazing views of the sea. There is a chaise longue, a fireplace and a dining table in the living room area.  The modern, designer kitchen is really well equipped. From the kitchen you can go out onto the terrace where you will find a table and chairs which makes it the ideal dining area. Prepare yourself for long, relaxing evenings watching the most amazing sunsets in all of Los Caños.

There are 4 rooms in total, 2 of which have double beds and the other 2 have single beds. One of the rooms with a double bed has views of the sea and a French window that leads out onto the terrace. The other room with a double bed has an en-suite shower. The other 2 rooms share ample bathroom which has a double sink and a bathtub. Besides, there is a hot water shower out in the garden too. 

From the garden you will see the most incredible sunsets in all of Los Caños de Meca, with Trafalgar lighthouse as a backdrop.

RATES
Rates are approximate. Confirm rates and availability by sending a reservation request, an enquiry form or by telephone.
The semi-detached holiday homes are the same, Villasdemeca reserves the right to assign one or the other since both are really equal, depending purely on availability.
Minimum stay of 2 nights in the low season and of 6/7 nights in the high season.
VAT (10%) is included.
All services such as water, gas and electricity are included in the price.
Final cleaning service is also included in the price. The house should be left in good order and the garbage disposed of correctly.

Consult prices for additional cleaning services, an extra bed or firewood for the chimney. These services are not included in the price.

Please do not hesitate to ask for information about Taxi services, nearby airports, walking trails, places of interest to visit in the area or any other activities that you may be interested in.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION
On making a reservation 30% of the total fee must be paid by means of a bank transfer. On receipt of this payment you will receive an email confirming the reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of a cancellation the entire deposit would be returned if the property is reserved by another guest for the same dates. If not, the deposit will be lost.

CHECK-IN, CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in: After 17:00 pm.
Check-out: By 12.00pm.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY
The maximum occupancy policy must be respected at all times. Failure to comply with this policy will result in the appropriate measures being taken, such as an extra fee being charged or on eviction from the premises.

DEPOSIT: The client will be held responsible for any damages or faults which may occur on the property caused by the tenant, the tenants guests, or pets. Proper care must be taken of the property. Should any damages occur, the tenant is obliged to inform it to the staff at Villasdemeca, whatever their cause.
The amount of the deposit will be established on making a formal reservation. This deposit will be paid in cash on arrival at the property.
The deposit will be returned on inspection of the property and once verified that everything is in the same condition as it was on arrival. The tenant will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the property or its content occurred during their stay and will be liable to be charged for any breakages or repairs.

Airports in the area of Los Caños de Meca: Jerez de la Frontera, Seville, Málaga or Gibraltar.

The airport at Jerez de la Frontera is the one closest to us at just an hour away by car. Seville, Malaga or Gibraltar are about two hours away.

Supermarkets, shops and restaurants close to the Villas.

In Los Caños de Meca there are small food shops and a pharmacy. To do a large shopping trip most people go to Barbate which is just seven kilometres away and where you will find all the major supermarkets such as Mercadona, Lidl or Aldi. We highly recommend you visit the central market in Barbate where you will find all the freshest local produce and the best of fish from our coasts.

There is a wide selection of restaurants, bars and beach bars to choose from, all within walking distance. In summer, everything is open. In the low season the offer is more limited.

Local tourist attractions: Los Caños de Meca is situated between Cadiz to the west and Tarifa to the east. This makes it the perfect destination and brings you closer to the many places worth a visit in the province.

The great variety of beaches that the area has to offer on La Costa de la Luz is practically endless: La Barrosa, Conil, El Palmar, Barbate, Bolonia, Tarifa… The enchanting white villages, Los Pueblos Blancos, such as Vejer de la Frontera, Conil de la Frontera, Medina Sidonia, Grazalema, Arcos de la Frontera, etc…. The Natural Parks: La Breña y Marismas de Barbate or Los Alcornocales, and not to mention the mythical cities as Cadiz, Jerez de la Frontera, San Fernando or El Puerto de Santa Maria. From Los Caños de Meca it is possible to go on a day trip to such emblematic cities like Seville, Ronda, Gibraltar, or even a visit to Morocco.

The property was clean and photos accurate. Direct private access to the beach via several steps. Fantastic sunsets every night and sunrise visible from front bedroom. Lola was very helpful and rapidly replaced two electrical items which malfunctioned. She also communicated very efficiently during the booking process. We went in December and had fantastic sunny days, swimming in the cool sea, and enjoyed an open fire in the cool evenings.

Caños de Meca is a little village adjacent to a beautiful national park with sand dunes, hills and Mediterranean pines, so lovely walks. Most restaurants and bars were shut for off season. Nearby Barbate and Vejer de la Frontera (gorgeous hilltop town) had more places open.

We hired surfboard/ body boards and wetsuits for a good price at El Palmar 5 miles away, also went horse riding. Seville was just under 2 hours drive. Best to book Alcazar in advance as huge cues.

All in all a really interesting and unspoilt location and a great family holiday.
